So, I've been studying up on my python skills lately; completing the track at http://codeacademy , working through Learn Python the Hard Way, and writing some stuff that does some things that I'm interested in having done for me. I'm beginning to study up how to use quickly(http://developer.ubuntu.com/get-started/quickly-workflow/)as well.
My application does some really simple calculations based upon the Solstices and Equinoxes; creating the cross-quarter positions between these. Then it checks today's date and tells you which is the next solar position and how many days until the planet gets there. Fun stuff.
I click on the Hamster task tracker and start working on the problems I am facing and then hours later, I look up and see that time has flown straight passed me. It's amazing.
